Surprise police looking for the ‘Croc Bandit’ [Video]

SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — The Surprise Police Department said on Thursday it is looking for a burglar with a unique name.

Police have dubbed this suspect the “Croc Bandit” since he wears Crocs during his crimes.

In a social media post, video from a surveillance camera shows the suspect breaking out windows with a shovel before walking away around 1:30 a.m. on April 29 in the area of Litchfield and Bell roads.

He’s a white man with dark hair who is wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and, you guessed it, black Crocs.

The man has recently damaged eight different businesses in the same area.

He drives what appears to be a newer-model silver hatchback, police said.

Investigators didn’t release any other details.
