Leanne Morgan to star in Netflix comedy sitcom [Video]

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville native Leanne Morgan is set to star in and co-create a new scripted comedy series on Netflix.

Leanne is working with television producer Chuck Lorre, who has produced several sitcoms including The Big Bang Theory.

The untitled project will “kick off with Leanne’s life taking an unexpected turn when her husband leaves her for another woman,” according to a release from Netflix.

Leanne shared the news on social media Friday saying it’s a dream come true to be part of a sitcom. She said in her Instagram post:
