Interstate 95 will be closed in southern Connecticut “for an extended period of time” and is expected to cause heavy traffic delays on the busy corridor from New York into New England after a massive fire involving a petroleum tanker.Police in Norwalk, Connecticut, said the tanker fire occurred underneath the Fairfield Avenue overpass.
