Marks & Spencer are attracting young customers into their stores and cafes by offering a ‘Magic Coffee’, which is a fraction of the price of their competitors.
The supermarket has attempted to try and shake up the barista scene with their new invention, marketing it as the next new ‘It’ cup of java.
And Gen Z and Millennials seem to be a big fan. Some have even reviewed it on their social media accounts said they really enjoyed the drink.
Amazingly, it also seems inflation proof at just £3.15, significantly less than the £5 lattes in most high street chains.
Their ‘Magic Coffee’ launched last January and is made with a double ristretto shot and topped with steamed milk and served in a short 6oz glass.
M&S claims this creates a ‘perfectly balanced, less bitter, but uniquely flavoursome coffee,’ and took inspiration from drinks that appeared in Australian coffee shops.
