Water shut off in Meridian, Texas on July 25 [Video]

The City said restaurants, businesses and residents may be affected.

MERIDIAN, Texas — A major 12″ water line has been shut off in Meridian after being hit during construction, the City announced in a post on social media on Thursday, July 25.

The City of Meridian stated around 2 p.m. the water would be shut off “immediately”.

The outage will affect “everyone”, including residents, businesses and restaurants from the bridge at the Bosque River up to Meridian Heights, said the City.

Highway 6 and Highway 22 will reportedly not have water.

The City said the estimated time for water to return is 5:30-6 p.m.
