Watch: Surveillance video shows suspect before stealing SUV at Carvana, police say

The burglary occurred on Dec. 10 at 19091 Hipark Boulevard.

HAMMOND, La. — The Hammond Police Department released a video on social media showing a suspected thief appearing to take car keys from lock boxes just moments before stealing a 2016 Range Rover from Carvana last week.

According to the Facebook post, the burglary occurred on Dec. 10 at 19091 Hipark Boulevard.

Police were informed of the incident a day later when the call came in on Dec. 11.

The video shows an unknown suspect enter the business and gain access to where the keys are stored. The suspect is then seen removing several sets of keys belonging to vehicles listed for sale – one of which was used to take the SUV.

Hammond PD asks anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of this suspect to contact Detective Ronney Domiano at 985-277-5739 or through Crimestoppers of Tangipahoa’s anonymous tip line at 1-800-554-5245.
