UTICA, N.Y. — A City of Utica councilman raised concerns after Wynn Hospital went on diversion twice within three days, meaning it was unable to accept new ambulance arrivals.
This issue has sparked significant discussion among local residents on social media.
Now, sixth ward Councilman Joe Betrus suggested revisiting a strategy from the pandemic era to temporarily enhance the capabilities and staffing of local emergency departments.
