Donald Trump’s political adviser, Stephen Miller, has promised a “100% perfect deportation rate,” as he is embroiled in a war of words with billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban over immigration policy.
The issue is central in this year’s presidential race, with the candidates offering starkly different approaches. Trump is advocating mass deportations, while Vice President Kamala Harris has committed to reviving the bipartisan border security bill.
Cuban, who has been a vocal supporter of Harris’ campaign, has engaged in a social media spat with Miller since September 4.
The conflict centers on their differing views on trade matters concerning policy ahead of the November presidential election.
