President-elect Donald Trump is weighing in on an immigration program for skilled workers that has divided his supporters in a social media feud. The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations. In an interview with the New York Post on Saturday, Trump said he has “always been in favor of the visas” and that he has used the program to hire for his businesses.“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” Trump added.
