Triple blow for Conor McGregor’s business empire following civil court verdict [Video]

Conor McGregor‘s business empire has been dealt a triple blow following the verdict in his civil court case last week.

McGregor was found guilty by a High Court jury of assaulting Nikita Hand, the woman who accused him of raping her in a Dublin hotel room six years ago.

The mixed martial arts fighter was ordered to pay damages of nearly €250,000 at the conclusion of a civil trial on Friday evening before posting on social media that he intends to appeal the decision.

Following the verdict, the two drinks ventures associated with McGregor have come under the spotlight, with Carry Out Off-Licence and Costcutter Ireland owner Barry Group removing both his Irish stout Forged and Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, the whiskey brand he formerly owned, from sale.
