TOLEDO, Ohio — A local brewery announced its impending closure in a Facebook post Wednesday.
According to the social media post, HEAVY Beer Company will permanently close on Sunday, Dec. 15. The business did not give a reason for its closure, but thanked its customers and staff for having supported the brewery.
“From the beginning, HEAVY has been about more than just beer—it’s been about celebrating whatever fuels your passion,” the company wrote in the post. “It’s been about exploring the beauty of our region, building a strong community of breweries and beer lovers, and creating spaces where people can come together in a truly special way.”
HEAVY operates a location – HEAVY Underground – in the Vistula District.
