Today’s ‘Wordle’ #1,233 Hints, Clues And Answer For Sunday, November 3 [Video]

When Josh Wardle, a New York-based software engineer originally from the United Kingdom, first created Wordle during the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 he simply wanted a game “for me and my partner to enjoy.”

From these humble origins a global sensation was born, and in October 2021 Wordle was released to the general public and quickly built up a dedicated following across the English-speaking world. Some fans would take to social media each day, sharing their results and strategies, helping the game to grow further.

Such was Wordle’s popularity that, in January 2022, the game was purchased by The New York Times for an undisclosed low seven-figure sum, though it remained free to play.

During a previous interview with Newsweek, Erhan Aslan, who teaches linguistics at the University of Reading in the U.K., provided some advice for Wordle players.
