For the Taipei-based creative studio Houth, the only way to start a project is by asking questions. Founded in 2014 and specialising in brand strategy and design, Houth looks first to understand what problems there are to solve and then work from there, developing a framework to build upon. This process is one that’s proved worthwhile. In recent years the studio having been selected at Tokyo’s Type Directors Club (TDC) awards for excellent work whilst also being inducted into the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
The studio leads with a personal and sentimental approach. “Our inspiration comes from the details of everyday life, from independent bookstores to films,” the studio tells us, “small, emotional observations that spark our creativity and broaden our perspectives.
