Surveillance video captures man’s burglaries at local businesses in Louisville | News from WDRB

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — WDRB has obtained surveillance video from a local business showing part of a Louisville man’s crime spree that landed him behind bars. 

Louisville Metro Police shared a post on social media Friday evening about 47-year-old Jason McGill. LMPD said in the post that McGill began his crime spree Dec. 10 when he stole a Honda CR-V. Then, on Christmas Eve, LMPD said McGill burglarized the Big-O Tires on Cane Run Road. 

McGill’s criminal behavior didn’t stop there. Police said on Dec. 26, McGill broke into the home of an 88-year-old Louisville woman, demanding cash and taking off with the woman’s rare jewelry. 

Dec. 28, police said McGill put a stolen license plate on an already stolen Honda CR-V and burglarized the Kaiser Tire on Southside Drive. 

Over the span of three days, beginning Jan. 3, LMPD said McGill stole a Jeep, burglarized the AutoWerks on Belmar Drive and stole a Volkswagen Jetta. He’s also accused …
