A college student’s “embarrassing” moment in class after turning up in the wrong outfit at the wrong time has left online viewers in hysterics.
Adeline Meyer, user @adelinespinklife on TikTok, took to the platform on September 19 to share what happened when she attended one of her university classes in a Lululemon outfit.
The student said in overlaid text that she was surprised to hear her classmates joking around that the popular American-Canadian athleisure brand was targeted at “rich basic white girls.”
Meyer had been attending a class on brand identity, when her lecturer asked classmates to pick apart the label, she said. Meyer, unoffended by the comments as they were not directed toward her, has since sparked laughter among viewers online who have also shared their amusement at the stereotype.
