Steelers Starting OL Out For Season After Suffering Achilles Tear [Video]

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line injuries continue to come as starting guard James Daniels suffered an Achilles year on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. He will now be out for the season.

Daniels has started 36 games for Pittsburgh over the last three seasons. ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reported the news on social media.

Losing Daniels for the year is a big blow for the Steelers as they have already lost multiple offensive linemen this season. Pittsburgh lost center Nate Nerbig for the year due to a rotator cuff tear and guard Isaac Seumalo has missed a few weeks.

Rookie right tackle Troy Fautanu also suffered a knee injury recently and is out indefinitely so the Steelers offensive line has taken a brutal hit this season. Spencer Anderson replaced Daniels against the Colts so he will likely take his place going forward.

Pittsburgh is hoping that Seumalo can make his return in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys. They …
