Star WR Hospitalized, Status For Start of NFL Season in Question [Video]

Late Saturday night, news came out that Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had been hospitalized. This was due to a sternoclavicular joint dislocation and the status for him to start the regular season is now in doubt.

Insider Adam Schefter of ESPN broke the news on social media.

The injury occurred during the Chiefs’ first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brown suffered the injury on his first snap as a member of the Chiefs, when he was driven to the turf after catching a pass.

Chiefs head coach Any Reid spoke about the injury. He mentioned that Brown would miss some time and that the team would see where he was at later.
