SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – On Monday, Springfield Public Schools held an orientation for their newest educators to get them into the swing of things before students fill the classrooms.
New educators learned about the different services Springfield Public Schools has to offer to help them on their teaching journey, and attended some professional development classes as well.
Educators in Springfield getting educated on St. James Street for new teacher orientation on Monday two weeks ahead of the first day of school.
Teachers we spoke with told Western Mass News how this 20-hour program helps teachers start off the year on the right foot.
