Soroptimist International of Chico to host golf tournament to support women and girls | News [Video]

Soroptimist International of Chico is hosting a big golf tournament to support its mission of helping women and girls in our community.

Bonnie Chapman and Beth Parson joined Action News Now at noon to share the details.

Soroptimist International of Chico has been giving back to our community for 94 years in the form of service, community grants and scholarships. Their mission is to improve the lives of women and girls through education and economic empowerment.

For the second year, their major fundraiser is a charity golf tournament. The event will again take place at Canyon Oaks Country Club course, on Monday, May 13.
