COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A serious crash closed down part of a busy roadway in Colorado Springs on Monday.
At about 1:50 p.m. the Colorado Springs Fire Department announced they were responding to the crash at 20th Street and Uintah Street in the Old Colorado City area. The crash reportedly involved a motorcycle and a truck.
According to CSPD, two individuals were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but no deaths have been reported.
“One party trapped in a truck,” CSFD posted to social media. “Crews from T1 working to extricate. Several CSFD crews are on scene. Please avoid the area.”
CSPD reported that 20th Street and Uintah Street will be closed until 4 p.m. as they continue investigating.
