Rethink Ireland Marks 109m in Supports to Social Enterprises [Video]

Rethink Ireland has set its sights on growing its Google-backed social enterprise fund to €200m after marking seven years since its inception.

The non-profit organisation said it had reached over 1m people in distributing €109m in cash grants and business supports since 2016 to charities and social enterprises working in Irish communities.

Rethink Ireland is backed by companies such as Google.org, Bank of America, and IPB Insurance, and it has backed 448 innovative projects, supported 137,134 learners, and created 998 jobs in the non-profit sector to date. Furthermore, the body has supported 3,309 in employment.
