Red Martini Lounge employees, owners want answers after eviction [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Employees and the owners of Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge said on Thursday they want answers after the business was evicted the day before.

Employees said they were shocked to find out on social media about a large crowd taking everything thrown out of the business.

Raelene Robertson worked at Red Martini and told Atlanta News First she was devastated about losing a job she loves.

“I work here four to five nights a week,” she said. “I’m thinking about the people who work here, who have children, who have been here for nine to 10 years and this is their livelihood.”

Robertson said some of the staff’s belongings were in the business. She said Red Martini was more than just a job, but a place where everyone was family.
