POWELL, Tenn. — A restaurant that appeared several times on WBIR over the years to show off recipes, and which has served meals for the Powell community for around 19 years, said Wednesday that it would soon close its dining room.
Lulu’s Tea Room said on social media that the dining room would be closed on Jan. 17, 2025 — giving customers a few final months to eat a fresh meal inside a house located off Clinton Highway. The restaurant would serve a variety of fresh meals like quiche, soup and desserts.
