The Willow Creek Apartment fire has now left several families without a home for the holidays.
COPPERAS COVE, Texas — People from all over Central Texas are coming together to support families affected by a devastating apartment fire in Copperas Cove that happened on Nov. 14.
The fire spread through multiple apartments in Building Eight, leaving many families without homes and possessions.
Texas HomePro, a local contracting company, has helped with relief efforts. What started as a simple Facebook post quickly turned into an overwhelming display of community support with some even offering up their homes.
From brand new mattresses to toiletries, the outpouring has been non-stop with donations coming from as far as Lampasas and Gatesville.
Joshua Beal, co-owner of Texas HomePro, expressed his empathy for the victims and understands the long road ahead for those affected.
