New UAPB baseball coach has eyes set on winning season [Video]

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — It doesn’t take long to figure out that Logan Stout is not your average college baseball coach.

In just six months after being hired at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), Stout already has big goals for the atmosphere of the Golden Lions baseball park. 

“We’re adding a party deck down to the third baseline, we’re painting all the poles, making them look brand new,” Stout said. “We’re building an entire pitching lab down the right field line. [We’re] really just re-doing everything.”

Stout has certainly brought another level of energy and change to a Golden Lions program that has struggled in recent years. Last year, they won just six games in conference, their fewest mark since 2020.
