New sports bar plans to open this fall on Chippewa [Video]

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – A new sports bar is opening at 228 Chippewa at the site of the former Jasmine Lounge, per Buffalo Business First. Called GOAT Bar (as in “Greatest of All Time”), owner Bob Reich says the goal is to have an affordable menu with a family-friendly atmosphere. The plan is to open in early fall.

Catholic Health has named two new executive hires in its Physician Enterprise. Thomas Hughes has been named Senior Vice President & Chief Medical Officer and Monica Taylor has been named President. Hughes will be in charge of improving care coordination and performance. Taylor will oversee strategy and operations.

Amherst-based utility and consulting firm Troy & Banks is teaming up with the student-run MBA Consulting Group at UB’s School of Business Management. Troy & Banks says the goal of the partnership is to enhance their services and allow students to gain experience working with an established business.
