A LOWE’S shopper has declared they will take their business elsewhere after discovering their local store only offers self-checkout.

The customer took to social media to express their frustration at this change.

“Just found out that my @Lowes has switched to self-checkout only,” the woman wrote on X.

“To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

“Unless I can find a local hardware store, it looks like I’ll be spending more time at either @AceHardward or @HomeDepot.”

Shoppers across the US have voiced their complaints about self-checkouts for quite some time.

They worry that this change will create a whole host of issues, including a longer checkout time.

Other shoppers have expressed similar complaints about the changes Lowe’s has implemented in some of their stores.
