Local volunteers trying to recover missing cats and dogs lost during floods [Video]

While communities continue cleaning up this week, some of our neighbors are still searching for their pets lost in last week’s storms. Thankfully, because of local volunteers and their technology, many owners aren’t searching alone.Following last week’s flooding, Central Vermont Canine Recovery has been offering its free services for finding animals. Courtney Hardy, a founding member of the nonprofit, said around eight cats and four dogs were reported missing to their organization. Fortunately, two of the dogs originally said to be lost were found along a riverbed.
