‘Live 2 Lead’ Conference in Midland helps enhance leadership skills [Video]

MIDLAND, Texas — Midland city leaders gathered Thursday for an exciting conference called “Live 2 Lead.”

This event allows local leaders to learn and grow by enhancing their leadership skills.

They heard from inspiring speakers, had interactive sessions and got some networking opportunities.

NewsWest 9 was told there’s not many opportunities in the Permian Basin for leadership and professional development.

“Part of the reason I was here was because I work with ‘I Lead.’ And what that is, is leadership development for students and John Maxwell wrote the curriculum,” said Christine Foreman, student transformation state director for Maxwell Leadership. “So I’ve been able to work with students in the Permian Basin to bring leadership development to kids in kindergarten through 12th grade.
