LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Summer is nearly over for Jefferson County Public Schools students and that means it’s time to return to class and get back into the swing of things.

- Start date: Thursday, Aug. 8
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2 (No school)
- Family Teacher Conferences: Monday, Sept. 30
- Professional Development Flex Day: Tuesday, Oct. 1
- Fall Break: Wednesday, Oct. 2 – Friday, Oct. 4
- Professional Development Gold Day: Tuesday, Nov. 4
- Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5 (No school)
