BRUNSWICK, Maine — A staple of Brunswick’s Maine Street is set to close at the end of September.
Joshua’s Restaurant and Tavern announced Monday in a social media post that its final day of business will be Sept. 28.
“We knew this day would come, but until you say it out loud, it just doesn’t quite seem like reality,” the post stated. “As our staff knows, we have made the bittersweet decision to not renew our lease this fall.”
In a social media post on June 13, the owners said their daughter Danika just graduated from high school, leaving them empty-nesters, and they want more freedom to do other things.
