Roseville city councilman Scott Alvord said the assumption is Costco could start going vertical in the spring, but specific details haven’t been released.
ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Costco’s second location in Roseville is another step closer to starting construction on its project in the Baseline Marketplace.
The new 160,529-square-foot store will be on the northwest corner of Fiddyment and Baseline roads.
Roseville city councilman Scott Alvord posted on social media that funds have been transferred in escrow and Costco now owns the land in its section of the project.
“Remember, this is not a city project, so the city doesn’t control its timeline, but Costco has a great reputation of building quickly. Now that they own it, every day lost in delay is lost dollars. It should start moving quickly once they get started,” Alvord wrote.
