This decision marks a significant shift from the previous model, where users had to pay an additional $20 per user, per month for the Gemini Business plan to access these capabilities. However, this change comes with a caveat.

As Google integrates these AI features into the standard Workspace subscription, it’s also implementing a price increase across all Workspace plans. Jerry Dischler, Google’s president of cloud applications, said companies can expect to pay approximately $2 more per month per user for the AI-enabled Workspace compared to previous pricing. The base subscription price will increase from $12 to $14 per month.
