A Gold Coast mum who defied the odds by running a national beauty business after a car crash left her with serious brain damage is now in the running for one of Australia’s top beauty awards.
Rebecca Castano-Mander is the founder of Naturally COS, building a nationally acclaimed brand from her Coomera home.
Castano-Mander was involved in a serious car accident in 2020, resulting in a brain haemorrhage and stroke. It left her with significant memory loss and a need for full-time care.
“When I was hit, I was spun out of control,” said Castano-Mander.
Four years later and Castano-Mander is back in business.
Naturally COS has already earned four prestigious awards, and now Castano-Mander stands as a finalist for Australia’s Beauty Product of the Year, competing against an 50,000 other products.
She says she is now committed to inspiring and empowering other women to embrace their self-confidence.
