ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – President-elect Donald Trump is bringing yet another Georgia official to the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Chris Stallings, director of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS), has been named Assistant Administrator for Disaster Recovery and Resilience, Trump announced Thursday.
The SBA frequently administers disaster loans to small businesses affected by natural disasters such as hurricanes.
“Your leadership has been essential to our success, and your impact will be felt for years to come,” GEMA/HS said in a social media post. “Congrats again, Director!”
