LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Vegas PBS faces accusations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and financial impropriety, according to a lawsuit filed Monday by a former employee of the organization.
The complaint was filed against Vegas PBS, a nonprofit organization whose broadcast license is held by the Clark County School District, by Terry Chi, a digital marketing director at the organization. She identifies as Chinese-American, is over the age of 40, and has a disability.
“No one is going to say to your face, ‘Oh, you’re a [racial slur],’ but these are the underlying covert forms of racism in the office,” Chi said, describing her experience at Vegas PBS.
