European Institute of Innovation and Technology Opens Office in Budapest [Video]

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has opened an innovation office in Hungary, the institute announced on Monday.

The office will cover all EIT innovation areas, and will connect local innovators and other relevant actors to Europe’s largest innovation ecosystem, enabling Hungarian talent and entrepreneurs to access the EIT Community’s education, business support, and innovation programs in one place.

As an information point, it will bring together news about the EIT Community’s services and opportunities, and will also help the region’s competitiveness and economic growth by encouraging collaboration between business, education, and research organizations, they said.

The office, established under the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS), will be part of a network covering more than 20 European countries.

The EIT Community Hungary will be inaugurated on January 22, with a presentation of available resources and cooperation opportunities.
