Philadelphia Eagles star defensive back James Bradberry suffered a lower leg injury during the team’s practice on Wednesday. Surgery will not be needed to recover but he will miss about 6-8 weeks for the injury to fully heal.

This injury to Bradberry is a blow to the Eagles secondary as he was expected to help bolster the lineup depth. He has been around the game for a while so he has seen it all.
Throughout training camp, Bradberry was seen on the roster bubble but he made it through. He is expected to play more safety this season and has been transitioning to the new position.
