Donald Trump announces death of former CNN, Fox Business veteran [Video]

Conservative journalist and political talk show host Lou Dobbs died at the age of 78.

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump paid tribute to Dobbs, the former CNN and Fox Business veteran, on his social media platform Truth.

“The Great Lou Dobbs has just passed away,” Trump posted. “A friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent,” Trump continued in a post on Truth Social. “He understood the World, and what was “happening,” better than others. Lou was unique in so many ways, and loved our Country. Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debi, and family. He will be greatly missed!”

Dobbs’ official “X” account announced the news minutes after Trump’s announcement.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the great Lou Dobbs,” the post read. “Lou was a fighter till the end – fighting for what mattered most, God, his family, and the country.
