Decatur schools will welcome students back on Aug. 13 with a new four-day school week.The staff and administration at Decatur schools are eager to welcome new and returning students to class.Superintendent Steve Watkins said they are expecting about 580 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.”We did have a lot of faculty, staff and students that were impacted by the tornadoes,” Watkins said. “We are ready, excited for the students to get back.
