PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — After a little more than five decades in business, a family-owned bakery in the Philadelphia region has announced its closure.
Conshohocken Italian Bakery posted on Facebook that they will be closing their doors sometime later this month.
Known for their rolls, tomato pie, and more, the bakery says it opened in March of 1973 and had several expansions over the decades.
In their social media post, the company says their decision to shut down operations was for personal reasons and that it’s time for them as a family to be together.
