For Vice President Kamala Harris deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty, it’s about being “aware of the meme without being the meme.”

“The thing that we wanted to show was there are going to be some stylistic differences between the campaign before and the campaign now,” Flaherty, Biden’s former digital director, said during an interview at the CNN-POLITICO Grill.
