Tuesday, Macie Phifer, who was recently named 2023-2024 Mississippi girls basketball Gatorade Player of the Year, spent time giving back to her community.
She presented a $1,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of New Albany.
Gatorade Player of the Year Community grants empower all 610 State Gatorade Player of the Year recipients to award a $1,000 grant from Gatorade to a community organization that helps the next generation of athletes reap the benefits of sports.
