A body found in Cleburne County Saturday is believed to be that of a woman who has been missing for several weeks.The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that a hunter discovered human remains in an area off Alabama 281, about five miles south of Cheaha State Park.She was found in a secluded area away from paths and trails, according to officials. There was overhead foliage, which made it hard for officials to find her from above.Deputies called the coroner to the scene. Evidence, including identification, showed the person may be Vendula Wendy Rose, who left Ohio earlier this year to go on a hiking trip in Alabama. The remains are waiting official identification and cause of death from an autopsy in Huntsville.Nothing indicates foul play at this time, according to Cleburne deputies.
