Azets appoints David Lucas as head of expanding corporate finance division [Video]

Azets Ireland has appointed David Lucas as its head of corporate finance and is seeking to double the size of the division.

The professional services firm currently employs 16 in corporate finance and expects to recruit a further 20 over the next three years, allowing the company to advise on a growing number of transactions in the Irish mid-market sector.

The Irish M&A market has outperformed the global market in recent years, with private equity deals increasing 30% in Q1, but only a small number of firms are providing corporate finance services for the small to mid-market segment.

Lucas has 20 years’ experience in the finance sector, working both with banks and in professionals services, and he has spent more than 12 years in corporate finance.
