NEW CASTLE — Jennifer Cohan will soon take over the reins of the Delaware Chapter of the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) as longtime president Ed Capodanno recently announced he will retire in August 2025.
After she exits her current role as CEO of the professional development organization Leadership Delaware Inc. by the end of the year, she will undergo training and orientation through ABC until the end of March 2025. Capodanno will remain with ABC as a lobbyist through the 2025 legislative session, which ends on July 1.
“I’m really excited to get back to my roots in construction. It’s almost like a homecoming,” Cohan told the Delaware Business Times. “It’s an honor to follow in the steps of Ed, he’s an icon in the Delaware construction sector. And it’s a new challenge for me at this stage in my career.”
