A Nevada photographer is working to make sure young girls can celebrate an important milestone, without worrying about their finances.

In Hispanic culture, a quinceañera is a special event, which marks a young girl’s transition to womanhood.

But for some families, the high costs of dresses can be a barrier to the celebration.

The dresses cost anywhere from $500 to $2,500.

That’s where Seanet Lopez comes in.

She’s a quinceañera photographer, and she has a studio full of dresses.

Lopez uses them for girls who couldn’t have a party but still want photos in a traditional gown.

She announced on social media that she was giving away dozens of dresses to help more girls have a full quinceañera experience.

And she received a flood of responses.

Over the next few days, Lopez donated over 70 dresses to members of her local community, helping to ensure everyone would feel special on their big day.
