K1 Speed opens Knoxville location with indoor karts reaching speeds up to 45 mph [Video]

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Those who love to reach the finish lines first are in luck as K1 Speed Knoxville officially opened its doors on Jan. 15. 

The indoor go-kart racing fun zone shared images on its social media to announce the opening, showing a massive indoor track with dozens of karts ready for 45 mph action. 

According to the company’s website, there are two challenging tracks with the option of adult or junior electric karts. There is also a “Paddock” lounge restaurant inside the spacious building. 

“Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a first-time driver, K1 Speed caters to all skill levels,” the company said. “Our cutting-edge timing system accurately measures your lap times, allowing you to compete against friends and family or challenge your personal best.”
