Modern Love restaurant in Omaha closing Dec. 29 [Video]

Modern Love, a popular Omaha vegan restaurant, is closing for good on Dec. 29.

Owner Isa Chandra Moskowitz recently announced the date on social media after saying a few weeks ago that it would cease operations soon. It has revised hours until it closes: 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.

“Feeding you for the last 10 years has been the most fun ever,” it says on their website.

The restaurant opened in 2014 at 1319 S. 50th St. and, four years later, moved to its current location at the corner of 31st and Farnam Streets in Midtown Crossing. It took over the …
