ROAD CLOSURE: 4-vehicle crash leads to traffic disruptions in Mississauga [Video]

A four-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon has led to road closures and traffic delays.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that the incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Dixie Road and Rathburn Road East. The collision damaged a traffic light post and caused significant traffic disruptions.

No injuries have been reported, investigators say.

Traffic on Dixie Road is being diverted onto Rathburn Road as crews work to address the damaged traffic pole.

Officers are urging drivers to use alternate routes.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
